The Rotary Club of West El Paso actively participates in the Rotary Friendship Exhange program coordinated by Rotary District 5520. Every year, club members host Rotarians from other districts, often other countries, and very often send representatives to other countries. The Rotary Club of West El Paso supports the Bridges to Prosperity project, which constructs bridges in underdeveloped areas of the world to enable the residents of their areas to be far more effective by being able to travel during rainy seasons.
