RYLA Camps

Coming up in July are the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camps. The one for girls will follow immediately after the boys camps.

Each camp is a week long and is designed to strengthen the leadership skills of select students during the summer break between their junior and senior years of high school.  The camp activities include presentations by national and community leaders, group activities and competitions, and outdoor physical activities including high ropes and climbing walls.

The camps are operated by Rotary District 5520, and are supported by Rotary clubs from the entire district, which identify and sponsor campers as well as provide speakers and counselors for these camps.

The location is at the Manzano Mountain Retreat
