Independence Day Parade

The signature project of the Rotary Club of West El Paso is the annual Independence Day Parade, which draws up to 15,000 spectators every July!  Come join the fun!  Contact us for more information.


Every year the Rotary Club of West El Paso supports the Rotary District 5520 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) camps.   The club sponsors 6-10 high school students to attend this one week leadership training camp.   Rotarians from our club also participate as counselors and presenters at this event. Youth Exchange

Every year, the Rotary Club of El Paso participates in the Rotary Youth Exchange program of Rotary District 5520.   The club sends one student overseas for the school year, and hosts a student from a participating Rotary district in another country.   If you are interested in participating in this program, contact us today!

Rotary Friendship Exchange

The Rotary Club of West El Paso actively participates in the Rotary Friendship Exhange program coordinated by Rotary District 5520.   Every year, club members host Rotarians from other districts, often other countries, and very often send representatives to other countries.   If you would like to participate in this exciting activity, contact us.

First Tee Desert Classic

The Rotary Club of West El Paso holds a joint fundraiser with the First Tee of Greater El Paso.   Proceeds of this fundraiser go to support the projets of the Rotary Club of West EL Paso Foundation and the youth development programs of the First Tee of El Paso.

Bridges to Prosperity

The Rotary Club of West El Paso joins the Rotary Club of Alamogordo in support of the Bridges to Prosperity project, which constructs bridges in underdeveloped areas of the world to enable the residents of their areas to be far more effective by being able to travel during rainy seasons.


The El Paso area has many elementary students who struggle with school due to lack of basic resources.  Every year, the Rotary Club of West El Paso selects students with needs and provides them with backpacks and basic school supplies.

Council of Presidents

The Rotary Club of West El Paso is just one of 8 Rotary Clubs in the El Paso area.   These clubs join together to support projects and fundraisers of other clubs.   This cooperation is fostered by the Council of Presidents meeting where all of the local clubs share plans, ideas, and best practices.

Non-profit support

The El Paso area is serviced by many non-profit organizations.   The Rotary Club of West El Paso supports several of this with contributions from its foundation.  Support has gone to the YWCA, Salvation Army and many others.

Bowling Tournament

The Rotary Club holds two fundraisers every year.  In addition to the primary fundraiser, the First Tee Desert Classic, the club also holds a Bowling Tournament
