New Web Site for the Rotary Club of West El Paso

Welcome to the  new website for the Rotary Club of West El Paso.

Thanks to Carey Beamesderfer for all of his hard work over the past 8 years to make our web site one of the best web sites in the district.  Jesse Allen will be taking over the management of the club web site at this point.

Key features of the web site are:

  1. Designed for use from smart phones, tablets as well as laptop and desktop computers.
  2. Easy to access information for daily activities
    • speaker list
    • calendar
    • member contact list
    • location of local area clubs
  3. Inclusion of a blog to bring up to date information on the Rotary Club of West El Paso, other area clubs, Rotary District 5520 and Rotary International.  This will contain messages from the president, committee chairs, upcoming events, district activities, and information on Rotary International.
  4. Access to a wealth of information available from the previous web site, such as
  5. New appearance, matching the Rotary standards for logos and appearance.

A web site is always a work in progress and can be improved.   Suggestions are welcome.   Please address these to Jesse Allen.

Independence Day Parade

The Rotary Club of West El Paso brings to the city of El Paso, the Rotary Independence Day Parade.   The event draws up to 15,000 spectators to see up to 90 entries, including floats, local dignitaries, bands walking groups from all over the El Paso area.

This year was no exception and, with exceptional weather, we had a fantastic parade.

Come join us next year – either as a spectator or as part of the parade!
